Since 1988, Newark Rotary has had a 501(c)(3) Foundation, the Newark Rotary Club Foundation, to which members can make charitable donations that are tax deductible.  The Foundation has been the lead for receiving donations and building Rotary Park, including the major campaign and update in 2016.

At it's annual organizational meeting Tuesday, Jon Spahr was elected President, Cheryl Snyder Vice President, Tim Lehman Treasurer, and Mike Massaro Secretary.  The schedule of quarterly meetings was set for December 3, March 3, June 2, and September 3 at 10:45 at the Club's meeting location.

Additionally, a new bylaws committee was established to examine potential changes to the Foundation's governance.
